Lifestyle Spotlight On L’Objet’s Spring 2014 Collection

L'Objet Sous Le Ciel Collection

L’Objet Sous Le Ciel Collection

Given my obsession with anything and everything L’Objet, it was such a pleasure to meet L’Objet’s founder and designer Elad Yifrach a couple of days ago at their showroom where he walked me through their latest collection. Called Sous Le Ciel, the collection is inspired by China, more specifically the Han ┬áDynasty and the Silk Road. There are several horse accessories including sculptures, napkin rings and bookends. As I was born in the year of the horse and 2014 being a horse year as well, I was all over these pieces. I love the detailed work and their matte finish. There are jars and candles too in a ridge canister shapes. The plates, made from Limoge porcelain, are also stunning especially with those with gold borders. My words don’t do the collection justice.
