A floral-printed party frock with big skirt paired with mannish oxford shoes? Why not said Alber Elbaz of Lanvin. Through most of the 52 looks he sent down the runway — tailored coat dress, silk slip dress with fur stole, feathery confections, a leather jacket spliced with fur, a floral track suit, and a few studies on the LBD — these were paired with female versions of men’s oxfords shoes. Gone are the incredibly high heels that even the models sometimes couldn’t walk in. Perhaps a return to sensible shoes is afoot.

What do you think?
Lovely show with great dresses…ruined by those tacky neck chains-not ironically chic-just silly. The mannish shoes were a miss, as well. Too bad Elbaz couldn’t have curbed his impulses a tad.
I agree with the necklaces. Too street.
