Michael Kors
Michael Kors showed vibrant and energetic clothes in zippy colors including a mink camouflage coat in shades of blue, white and gray. He also put emphasis on outerwear, specifically coats with exaggerated shapes and in lively shades like orange and cobalt blue.
J. Mendel was inspired by artists Gerhard Richter and Guy Bourdin. Richter informed his daywear and Bourdin added sensuality to his evening gowns.

What do you think?
Kors’ shapes seemed unflattering in their boxiness and the strange puffed-out, split hemlines of a number of his skirts appeared downright unattractive. Enough of the shiny, vinyl zippers-that always becomes “dated” fast. In contrast, the figure-flattering lines of J.Mendel’s clothing and the wonderfully deep brights of his evening wear were inspiring, indeed!
