There were his signature gowns,slinky, beautifully beaded or spun from delicate lace, but the big story at Carmen Marc Valvo for fall 2013 is how the designer played up his evening wear with a mix of textures and fabric as in the case of the gowns made from silk and crocodile skin.

Lovely show and I’m so glad to see narrow-toed shoes on the runways after so many seasons of those awkwardly grotesque shoes that everyone seemed to be showing. I don’t understand why anyone would consider them attractive but then I never got the concept of the “sack dress” either!
