Lifestyle Ralph Lauren Home Goes To Paris’ Left Bank

The creative team at Ralph Lauren Home has turned out wonderful rooms once again for spring 2013. They did two set ups this season on the home floor of the Ralph Lauren store on Madison. One room is dedicated to the style of the Left Bank and the other features more traditional English manor interiors (check this blog tomorrow for images). For Left Bank, Ralph Lauren recreated the loft-like industrial atmosphere of Rive Gauche apartments complete with a view of the Eiffel Tower. The resident at this apartment seems to be in the creative field what with all the books piled on the book shelves and in corners and the many artworks on the walls, easels and fireplace mantels. The furnishings feature stripes and have that lived-in quality. The accessories could have very well been collected through the years from flea markets. Check the photos to be inspired. And come back tomorrow to see the decor of the other rooms.

Nobody does model rooms better than Ralph Lauren. I always made a habit of stopping in each time they changed them to see what he’d do. In these photos, it’s the wall graffiti that catch my eye and make me want to do something in that vein. I’ve gotten a lot of inspiration from his use of accessories and it shows in our apartment in Manhattan and our home in Brittany. Merci for all the great ideas, Mr. Lauren!
