With winter upon us, what better way to bundle up than with layers of cashmere. Club Monaco has just launched its cashmere collection in a tie-up with Lane Crawford in Hong Kong. The pieces from this collaboration are exclusive to the Lane Crawford store. They are geared towards men and features pieces like shawl collar cardigans, sweaters, sweat pants, hoodies and travel pieces like scarves and socks, all in 100 percent Italian cashmere. But while they are for men, there’s no reason why women can’t wear them especially if they want to attempt the boyfriend-dressing look. The pieces, more than 20 in all, are housed in a pop-up display at Lane Crawford’s men’s section. And as expected of Club Monaco stores, the corner echoes the classic yet modern sensibility of the Club Monaco man. This is a nice follow up to Club Monaco’s pop-up store, The Men’s Shop. Pieces in the Club Monaco for Lane Crawford collection retail from HK$1,290 (roughly US$166) for a ski cap to HK$7,990 (US$1,030) for a cable knit cardigan with leather elbow patches.
