For fall 2012, Ralph Lauren had Downton Abbey and the country weekend in the English countryside in mind. For his spring 2013 collection, Lauren traveled to Spain or Argentina or even to Mexico. He showed many ruffled dresses and gowns some of them in blood red. Those dresses had beautiful movement and you could almost imagine them on the dance floor doing the flamenco. There were toreador jackets and blanket scarves too that called to mind images of bullfighters in Spain. For accessories, he showed laser cut bags, some with fringing, and evening clutches in the shape of fans. The model Karlie Kloss even fanned herself with one of the bags as she regally walked down the runway.
